Author Interview: In Conversation With Author Sneha Vishwakarma.

Firstly, Big Congratulations on your book, I am the Moon: Verses of Gloom, Love and Hope.

  1. Tell me something about yourself Sneha?
I am a software engineer by day and writer by night. I live in bangalore india. I have been a good reader and I was into writing from my childhood days, reading and writing is such an integral part of my life that I feel incomplete without it. I love to get engrossed in the beauty of imagination. I always find myself as a curious soul and I want to remain a seeker of peace and knowledge. in this journey of life, I have been trying to find ways to give an outlet to my emotions and to do this I love to try my hand into various art format like sketching, oil painting, stitching, gardening, etc.
  2. Well, Sneha can you please share your experience about making your work come into the form of a Poetry book?
My poems and verse are inspired by daily life, things which we experience, which we feel. there are so much to learn from life, and I believe being a woman, we have a different view to see things than others. My book I am the moon is collection of poems and prose which talks about the challenges we go through, surprise life gives us, ups and downs and different of phases of our thoughts and perception.
we all go through good and bad times in lives exactly the way moon goes different phases. the moon is a source of inspiration available for all of us every day without any cost, it inspires us how to stay calm and composed on the days when life is going thorough dark phases; and how to shine bright on the days when life favors you.
  3. How would you bring change in society through your writing?
“Sahitya to samaj ka darpan hota hai”. Literature always shows what is happening around us. literature alone cannot change the world. literature is an important tool to heal, to improve ourselves. The world is going through a lot, our lives are changing a lot, and in these changing times let’s read, let’s write, let’s take help from literature and our life path will surely be clearer if not easier.
  4. How you celebrate your success and how you manage your failure?
You know I believe in this, if life is a learning, then success is a failure. Because we learn from failures. Failures are important and integral part of your success. I know it’s easier said than done. But we have to take a pause and think positively on the outcome of whatever we have done. It might easily become difficult to digest the outcomes. So, I think more than the outcome, it’s the attitude of how we take it and move ahead.
See, Success will knock your door one day or the other. But the happiness of becoming successful should not be hollow. So, I believe we should upgrade our thoughts and pay attention to how we are becoming successful not when we are becoming successful.
  5. What can We see next to you??
Another anthology by end of this year 😊
  6. Any Message for budding authors.??
My advice to the next generation is, in modern times where you can know anything any time on the tip of your finger, first know who you are and what you are. look within. Ask yourself. Know what’s your true calling, and most importantly, know what you are not. Don’t believe in who you are not.
    Be true. Be you.
